Little girls

Our baby girl has a high fever for the first time!  It is very sad.  Since Wednesday Rachel has had a fever over 100.  I have been speaking with the nurse at our doctor's office, knowing that without any other symptoms, it was most likely a virus.  They did say that they wanted to see her on Friday if the fever stayed up.  Since her fever was lower on Friday morning than it was most of the day Thursday, I decided to hold off on the doctor visit.  Our doctor sees patients on Saturday morning if need be, so we bit the bullet and took her this morning.  They did a flu test (negative thankfully) and Rachel did not like that one bit!  We think she doesn't like the doctor's office any more (although, she was very tired while we were there).  

She is doing better and hasn't had much of a fever today and no Tylenol for her today!  We are happy with her progress, but we will be staying home from church in the morning. Rebekah is also having a slightly elevated temperature, but for a very different reason.  The video below was filmed while Rachel was sick on Friday.  She was very whiny on Thursday, but mostly back to normal on Friday.

On a lighter note, Rebekah has a tooth!!!  We are most excited and thrilled at the prospect of her getting older.  It's been very different having Rebekah around.  Part of me compares her to when Rachel achieved milestones, and the other part of me feels like she's too young to be ready for some of these events, but I guess that just means time is flying by.
